The TinySwitch Chip Tester of the 1-4 version of the family allows you to quickly, easily and safely test the performance of very popular chips. The American company Power Integrations has developed and for many years produces several families of integrated circuits (IC) for low-power and small-sized networked pulse flyback power sources with galvanic isolation of output voltages from the network united by the common name TinySwitch. These chips are different, but they can all be tested with a PWM TESTTNY tester.
TinySwitch ICs are used in cell phone chargers, switching power supplies (UPSs) of radio telephone extenders (cordless radiophones) and antenna amplifiers, standby power supplies of TVs, personal computers, etc.

The device can test the reference voltage and display the result of stabilization at the voltmeter on the board. 40V ZENER & TVS MAX can be tested. For TL431 testing set voltage less than 36V first!
Powering of the tester
The AC-DC power adapter is not included. For the powering of the device you can use any DC adapter or any DC power source 10V-20V and with minimum 0.3A output current. The connector type: male DC Power Jack 5.5x2.1mm (DC-005 Jack). Do not exceed 22V input voltage. Power the device from current limited 8A MAXIMUM source & protected from mains for the safety reason.

The TinySwitch series, on the other hand, is a line of network power supply controllers in a flyback topology with an integrated high-voltage MOSFET switch.
